Michel Chabot "... drowned on 6 Aug 1726 [along with his son's, Pierre and Augustin] crossing Beauport toward the island of Orleans ... "and was" ... found on 13 Aug by Jean Peltier and Pierre Langlois...", being given the age of around 63 years on the record. His burial act is recorded in both Saint-Pierre and Saint-Jean, Île d'Orléans, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[5]and[6]
