Biography

Felix Veilland Chachere, son of Louis Chachere and Catherine Vaucherez, was probably born about 1800 in Louisiana.[1]

He married Alouise Lavergne, daughter of Celestin Lavergen and Louise Harry, on 23 Dec. 1822. Their marriage was recorded at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. [1]

Veilland was born in 1801 to Louis Chachere and Catherine Vauchere. He married Heloise Lavergne in 1822 [7] and they had, at least, nine children. [8] Veilland passed away in 1895. [9]
