Biography
Margaret S. Chaffin daughter of Amos Chaffin and Elizabeth Porter was born 1784 Burke County, North Carolina. She married Amos Jackson, Jr. 7 October 1824. Margaret is a sister to Joseph Chaffin that married Susanna Jackson and Elijah Chaffin that married Anna Jackson. Margaret's brothers married her husbands sisters. She passed away 1 October 1874 in Habersham County, Georgia. She is buried at Hazel Creek Cemetery, Habersham County, Georgia. [1].
