The name of Guillaume's wife is not known and Beatrix von Staufen, who was about 12 when she died around 1174 and was buried at the monastery of Lorch in Germany, was the oldest daughter of the Holy Roman Emperor and only mentioned in the Annals of Romuald as a marriage prospect for the king of Sicily. This marriage should be deleted with Guillaume's wife made unknown.
