Biography

1776 Project
Ephraim Chamberlain performed Patriotic Service in Massachusetts in the American Revolution.

Ephraim Chamberlain was born on 28 September 1725 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay. He was the son of Samuel Chamberlain II (1685-1769) and Rebecca (Wilder) Chamberlain (abt.1690-1731).[1]

On 9 January 1752, Ephraim married Esther (Boynton) Chamberlain (1729-abt.1779) in Westford, Massachusetts.[2][3]

He was a part of the Patriotic Service during the American Revolution as a committee member of both the Committee of Inspection and the Committee to Support Families.[4][5]
