Elizabeth Ellis Chamberlain (married name Dale) was born around 1841, the daughter of Susan (Ellis) Chamberlain and Joshua Chamberlain.^{[citation needed]}

She married William Dale in 1859 in Victoria, Australia.^[1] Their children were:
