Biography

Samuel Chamberlain probably was born about 1796, based on the 1850 census record of Great Bend, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, at which time his stated age was 54 years [1]. From this basis it is probable that he was the last surviving child of Hannah (Heath; 1767-1797), who died the following year. Hannah was the first wife of Wright Chamberlin (1758-1842), Sergeant in the American Revolutionary War.

Samuel married probably two times, with children resulting from each.

Samuel Chamberlain died probably 20 October 1850, at Great Bend, Pennsylvania.
