Brown Chamberlin was a Quebec lawyer, publisher and politician. He was a Conservative member of the House of Commons of Canada representing Missisquoi from 1867 to 1870.[1]
Born in 1827, he was the son of Dr. Brown Chamberlin and Diantha Knap. He was the youngest of five children.[2] He married Agnes Fitzgibbon, a widow, in 1870, [3]and they had one child, Agnes.[4]
