Phineas was born in 1779 in Newbury, Vermont to Abiel Chamberlin and Elinor Johnson.[1]
He moved to Bath, New Hampshire, where he settled on a farm adjoining those of his brothers Seth and Martin.
Phineas married Betsy Downs on November 23, 1802 in Bath, New Hampshire.[2]
He passed away in 1859.
