This info was obtained from the booklet entitled "Historical Address, The Meeting House Springs Graveyard by Allan D. Thompson, Carlisle, Pa., 1927," page 15. "In 1735 (Nov. 4) the court sitting at Lancaster appointed Ranald Chambers one of the viewers to lay out a road 'leading from Harris' Ferry (now Harrisburg) toward the Potomac River.' "
Inscription (Coat of arms.) "Here lys the body of Ranald Chambers, who deceased December 24, 1746, aged 60 years." (Third oldest stone in the cemetery in 1927)
