Amy Chambers was born about 1613, dau of Thomas Chambers, minister of Assington, Suffolk, England.
She married Thomas Matson by October 1633. Their first child was baptized at Boston.
She died btw 28 Feb 1677/8 (date of will) and 1 May 1678 (date proved).[1]

13 Apr 1670: Theodore Atkinson Sr of Boston, feltmaker, 'for the natural love & affection which I bear towards my brother-in-law Thomas Matson Senior of Boston ... & Anne [sic] his wife which was sister to my first wife Abigaile." [SLR 6:333] The document goes on to name the children of Thomas Sr as well as the children of Thomas Jr
Note: Amy (Chambers) Matson was elder half-sister to the first wife of Theodore Atkinson Sr of Boston and aunt to John Pickering of Hartford.
