Biography

Arthur was born in 1856. "In 1921, one year after Esther marries, Esther has hard time with her first child, very big. (born 1921) Mother (Elizabeth Harrington) goes on for 1 month. Harry and father are all alone. The day mother comes home she has sad news. Harry that morning finds his father on the bedroom floor. He had a stroke on the right side and is taken to Flushing Hospital and passes on 8 days later." He passed away in 1921.

Notes

On the New York City Municipal Deaths, his mother's name is incorrectly spelled as Beangie. Beaugie is the correct spelling. The father's name is correctly spelled. On this document the birth year of 1856 is estimated.

"Elizabeth and Arthur met, and were married, Elizabeth Harrington and Arthur Chambers, 17 and 18. He becomes a skilled carriage maker. Works for the Bruster Co., was asked to go to England with Tallehoe but did not go."
