9 Dec 2022 - 1860 and 1870 US Census records have head of household as a female "Jones", with first name Flora in 1860 and initials (possibly F M E) in 1870. Father is Moritimer Hardin in 1860, Hardin Jones in 1870. Possibly just mix-up by census taker, but so far unable to locate a 'Jones' in either parent's family (approx 18-19 years older than her parents...sibling, possibly?) Also, Wallace Porter Chambers appears on 1890 census as a 10 year old, but is not listed in her obituary (other children are and all were still living). Not sure what that's about...but still researching!
