In her younger days, Jean was a wonderful golfer winning many championships and even accomplished a hole-in-one. The distinctive “hitch” in her swing will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of golfing with her. She, along with Bud, were honorary members of the Woodstock Golf Club.
She was devoted to her family and loved a good game of bridge or 45’s with their many, many friends. She was known for “the best brown bread, beans and macaroni ’n cheese scallop in the land.”
