Chambers, 83, former Door county resident residing at 4919 8th, Kenosha, died Wednesday night at a hospital there following a long illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday at .‘1230 at the Bruch funeral home, Kenosha, interment at, Sunset Ridge cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.111. Friday. He was born in Fish Creek on Feb. 23, 1891 'to Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Chambers. He attended the Green Bay Business college and moved to Kenosha in 1922, where he operated the Cham- bers Fisheries. He sailed all of his life on the Great Lakes. June 19, 1912 he married lngrid Johnson who preceded him in death on June 12 of this year. Surviving are sons Murray, " Holland, Mich“ Gordon, Eldon and Keith of Kenosha and daughters Mrs. Verna Boyle of lawrence‘ Boyle of Kenosha, and Mrs. Phillip Anderson, Lansing, Ill. Also surviving are 22 grand- children, 29 great- grandchildren and a brother and sister, Howard Chambers and Mrs. Frank Canaday, both of t‘ortez, Fla.
