Biography

Birth & Upbringing: Marodza was born in the Goromonzi are in 1949.
Family: Marodza married Margaret.
Education: He was schooled at Makumbi Mission School, in Goromonzi. [1]
Occupation: Policeman - Prior to joining the BSA Police, Marodza worked for a service station. He joined the BSA Police in May 1975; Reg. No. 23416; served until February 1979. During his service he was station at Headlands, Inyanga, Nyamaropa and SB Inyanga on attachment.
Demise: Killed in action - contact and engagement with enemy while serving as a Constable with Duty Uniform - SB Attachment in Manicaland (Operation Thrasher), Rhodesia [2]
Burial: The semi military funeral for Marodza Chamboke took place at Warren Hills Cemetery on 7 February 1979. [3]
