Biography

13 April 1896 Ethel Maud was born in Hobart. She is the eldest daughter of Frederick Champion, and Engineer and Elizabeth Livett. [1]

Married Mr. Mathers (details unknown). They had 4 children, Allan, Joan, Neil and Fay

12 Sep 1962 Her father died and she was bequeathed his estate. Her surname was Mathers and she was described as a widow, living at 393 Liverpool St, Hobart [2]

14 Nov 1971 Ethel made her will, which divided her estate equally between her 4 children, with special mention that her granddaughter, Janine who received the diamond ring[3]
