Occupation

Railway Packer

Note

Albert worked for the Great Western Railway, as a Stone Packer, who placed stone ballast, under the ties on the railway bed. Both Albert and Emily had the last name of "Chandler". They were married May 17, 1880 at the Church of St. James the Apostle in Dover . He was listed as a Gunner in the Royal Artillery residing at Dover Castle, probably a barracks. Emily was listed of a Spinster, a child of David Chandler, deceased. Albert could write his name, but Emily signed with an 'x'.
