I noticed that Lot Garwood-145 had an unidentified son.
A long shot, but Census of Aug., 1850, Champaign Co., Oh., lists George H. Garwood, 28, born Oh., about 1822, wife was Lydia, 25, born about 1825, Oh.
Also listed is Martha Snuffin, (husband ?) 58, born about 1792 in New Jersey.
Just logged into GENI and saw your note <faceplant> the relationship finder says we are related through Martin Palmer. huh. There must be another way, that puts you closer. As you say we may be related in a couple of ways,

as well as for the last name at birth we generally use the tribe name. Cherokee, Comanche, Shawnee, etc. Except in the case of large lines like the Moytoy's or Cornstalk's.
It looks like we keep bumping into each other with profile maintenance so I ran you name through the tool here. Looks like we're 14the cousins once removed & our common ancestor is Wheeler-39. So, "Hi cuz!" If you run into any projects on our shared lines that need extra eyes or hands, send me a heads up so I can pitch in. :-)
