Joseph Chandler was born 14 October 1788 in Mason, New Hampshire to Jonathan Chandler and Rachel Wilson.[1]

Joseph married Nancy Phillips. daughter of Enos Phillips, on 4 Apr 1814 in Sempronius, Cayuga County., New York.[1]
