Mehitable died on 1 Jul 1768 in Westford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.

Her death and date are registered by hand in the church book of the First Parish United Church in Westford, where her second husband, Andrew, was a deacon. Those records state "Mehitabel, wife of Deacon Andrew Spaulding departed this life July 1, 1768." (No mention is made of Andrew's death in these records even though many sources apply Mehitable's date of death to him.)
Her place of burial is unknown.
