Mehitable was born 19 Dec 1709 in Andover, Essex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony to Joseph Chandler and Mehitable Russell.

Mehitable Chandler married Robert Crosby on 7 Feb 1732 in Andover, Massachusetts. ^[1]

Her second marriage was to Deacon Andrew Spaulding on 26 Nov 1745 in Westford, Massachusetts. ^{[2] [3] [4]}

Death and Burial

Mehitable died on 1 Jul 1768 in Westford, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. ^[5] Her death and date are registered by hand in the church book of the First Parish United Church in Westford, where her second husband, Andrew, was a deacon. Those records state "Mehitabel, wife of Deacon Andrew Spaulding departed this life July 1, 1768." (No mention is made of Andrew's death in these records even though many sources apply Mehitable's date of death to him.) Her place of burial is unknown. ^[6] The Massachusetts, Town Death Records, 1620-1850 list her as Mehittabel Spaulding. ^[7]
