Biography

He died after being hit by a train where he had fallen asleep on the track. His foot or leg was amputated and he died shortly after this. His wife had already died after giving birth to her 5th child. They left 5 children orphaned and the kids were separated among relatives in Ga and Fla. My great grandmother Addie Mae was their oldest.
