Dorothy, 03/25/1933 in old hospital on Main Street, was the youngest of 4 children born to John Britt and Ellen Chandler. Her brothers are Bill, Fay, and Britt. She graduated from PHS in 1951 and married Dennis Sorensen of Williston, ND in June 1953.

Dennis managed the Plentywood Gamble Store until 1960 when he and Dotty moved to Inglewood, CA.

In 1996, Dotty bought a house on Main Street in Plentywood where she now resides. Dotty has 2 children: John Galen 07/11/1954 who is single and Mary Ellen 08/21/1961 who was married and has 1 child, Christina.

On 08/28/1974, Dotty remarried and became Mrs. Ed Lindquist.
