McClaron Chaney was born 16 May 1888 in Union County, North Carolina, United States. He was a white male. [1][2]
He was a shoemaker by trade, and he was affiliated with the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons - it is believed he was a member of Paw Creek Masonic Lodge #659 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina which was charted January 16, 1924 (now extinct). [1]
McClaron passed away on 18 November 1944 in Gastonia, Gaston, North Carolina, United States. His last residence was in Dallas, Gaston County, North Carolina, and he was widowed at the time. His funeral was held at Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina. McClaron is buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia, Gaston County, North Carolina, United States of America.[1][2]
