Hi, Marie!

My third great grandfather Ichabod Farnsworth (13 Jun 1772) has two possible mothers according to the genealogy I am working from: Abigail Hill (his 2nd wife Hannah's sister) or Martha Barth (no record found). Isaac apparently had three children by one of these women and then went on to marry Hannah Hill 21 Apr 1775 in Granville, NS. Then they moved back to the States and settled in Jonesboro, Maine, where the rest of the children were born.

I'm curious what source you used for Isaac's marriages and what it says. I'm guessing it was the Chute genealogy. I do not have access to this.

Hi! Marie: Just getting back to you on the John Leander Porter/Pothier family. I have completed my research on this end. John died in Nova Scotia and did not have any children. I have extensively re-created the family and it appears if a photo of John exists, it most likely would be in the hands of the family of his sister Irene M Pothier ,who married a George D LeBlanc. All of the family except John lived and died in Lynn, Mass. Irene and John were the only two siblings who were married. It would be a large task to track down Irene and George's family. I can send you a detailed report on the family if you are interested.

Sorry, I don't have information on Pikes in England after 1635. My ancestor came over in 1635, consequently I follow Pikes primarily in New England.

Hi Marie: Good to touch base over our common Grieve research name. That's not my direct line either, but that of my husband's mother's line, a 4th great uncle.
Hi Marie!

In July 2019, you made 1000+ (actually, over 1300!) contributions to our Shared Tree! I commend for your time and effort. Keep up the great work!

Hi, Marie. I only know of the Chantigny family because one of them married a Michaud (my maiden name). My information from that far back comes from parish records.

Nice to meet you. Karen

Marie, you recently made a change for Pauline Hoffman Halbgewachs (Hoffman-7943). The change on her birthplace from "burg" to "berg" is helpful. My bad spelling. But what is wrong with Weurttenberg?

Thanks, Barbara

Thanks for your Speedy response Marie. I've currently found 8 Mary Freemans who were born in Rochester Massachusetts in that time period.

Mary who married Enoch Dexter in Liverpool Nova Scotia was the daughter of Elijah and Lydia. Her marriage is listed in Simeon Perkins diary, a well-accepted Nova Scotia resource. Perkins names her as Miss Mary Freeman. I'm fairly certain he would have named her as the Widow of Cyrus West if that was the case.

I suspect my ancestor Mary, who married Cyrus West, is either:

Mary daughter of Nathaniel and Hannah born Barnstable 1742.

Or

Mary daughter of Isaac baptized in Rochester 1747.

Although the jury is still out. Warmest regards betty-anne

Between us We need to add the children of

Oliver William Dodge and Elizabeth Latimer. as I record they had 9 Children many of whom had children. what do you say. Also could you explain How I am your 11th cousin nee removedremoved.

So far as I know I am not in any way related too the Tristram Dodge Clan.
