Robison-113 Dave Robison
The surname "Chaplin" is incorrect. Deacon Samuel "Chapin" is the progenitor of this extensive line of Massachusetts settlers whose descendants include singer Harry Chapin, John Wayne, President Taft and thousands of others including myself, his 8th great grandson. Dozens or streets, parks and, even today, businesses are named after this family. His image stands in the Quandrangle in Springfield, Massachusetts in the form of a 15' statue by famed sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens which was rendered in the late 19th century.
