MRS. FRED C. WRIGHT

Mrs. Emily (Chapin) Wright, 91, of Greenleaf Stree, widow of Fred C. Wright, died last night in Hillcrest Rest Home following an illness of two years.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Congregational Church, West Brattleboro. The body will be cremated following which committal services will be held in Locust Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dickinson - Streeter Funeral Home. Members of Brattleboro Unit, American Legion Auxillary, should meet at 1:45 tomorrow afternoon at the church to attend services in a body.

Born in Springfield, Mass., April 17, 1867, she was the daughter of Edward P. and Edna (Kibbe) Chapin. She attended schools in her native town.

Her marriage to Mr. Wright took place Oct. 4, 1893 in Springfield. He died May 30, 1911. After his death Mrs. Wrigth came to Brattleboro to make a home for her father and two brothers.

Mrs. Wright was a charter member of the American Legion Auxillary and a former member of the Women's Club.

She is survived by two sons, A. Chapin and E. Sherman Wright of Brattleboro. She also leaves one sister and one brother, Mrs. Edward O. Smith and Horace K. Chapin, both of Springfield. She leaves eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
