Biography
George W Chapin was born about 1857 in New York, United States. He was the son of Franklin Chapin and Catharine Chapin.[1]
In the 1870 US census, George W Chapin (13) was living in Oswegatchie, New York, with parents Franklin Chapin (40) and Catharine Chapin (41) and siblings David, Henriett, Joel and Sarah.[1]
George W Chapin married Margaret Green.[2]
In the 1880 US census, George W Chapin (22) was living with Margaret W Chapin (21) and son Stanley Cahpin (7 months) in Oswegatchie, New York, in the household of his father-in-law John Green (58) with wife Hanna Green (57) and sister-in-laws Faithful Green (21) and Bessie Green (11).[2]
He passed away about 1890.
