George Chapin was born December 31, 1722 at Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts. His parents were Benjamin Chapin and his wife Hannah (Colton) Chapin.[1]
On May 26, 1743 he married Thankfull Sikes at Springfield Third Church in Longmeadow.[2]
George was baptized March 14,1744 and died April 16, 194. He married Phebe Sikes on January 23, 1765. Phebe born July 14, 1744.
Thankful was born September 29, 1745 and died December 20,1810. She married William Chapin on January 15, 1767; son of Isaac & Experience Chapin. no children.
Hannah was born July 24,1747. unmarried.
Daniel was born May 4, 1949 and died December 2 1762.
Solomon was born February 4,1751. He married on February 10, 1744 to Vashti Chapin, daughter of Isaac and Experience Chapin.
Abiah was born March 20, 1753 and died June 4 1754.
Abiah (2nd) was born March 9, 1755 and died April 19, 1835. She married on January 1, 1777 to Deacon Moses Bliss of Chicopee, son of Moses and Rachel (Colton) Bliss.
Lovina was born March 14, 1757. She married Capt. Jonathan Worthington of W. Springfield on February 26, 1804.
Tirzah was born May 11, 1759 and died August 29, 1828. Married Jonathan Purchase. No children.
Lovica was born November 12, 1761 and died April 11, 1786. She married Peresh Hitchcock, son of George and Hannah (Johnson) Hitchcock.
Rhoda was born June 6, 1763 and died August 2,1767.
Roxanna Salvania was born March 31, 1765. She married on January 31, 1790 to Beriah Howard of Springfield, son of Benj. and Sarah (Warriner) Howard.
Daniel was born August 1, 1767. He married Mary Perry on February 4, 1793.
He died December 10, 1782 at Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts.[4]
