Biography

Paul was born in Tyringham, Massachusetts in 1760.[1]

Paul Chapin married before 1821 Elsie Arnett. He served as a drummer boy in George Washington's army in the Revolutionary War and he was wounded in that war. He also served as a commanding Major in the War of 1812. Paul and Elsie are the parents of Paul Stillman Chapin I.

Captain Paul Chapin was a soldier in the American Revolution. He was wounded in the right arm.

After the war he was a blacksmith.
