Rosalie Chapman was born in about 1920 in Rochester, Monroe, New York to Lewis Chapman and Dorothy Hollister. She grew up in Rochester with her parents and siblings. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

On April 13, 1946, Rosalie married Burton J. Auburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Auburn. ^[4]

Rosalie died on December 12, 1982 in Rochester, Monroe, New York. She was survived by three children. ^[5]
