A Tablet in the Chapman Isle commemorates the whole family, with exception of Walter. The elder son Robert, who was born in 1702, was up at All souls in 1718, later became Rector of Walcot, and died in 1728. Two daughters, Ann and Elizabeth, are commemorated on the tablet. Ann died in 1733, aged 18. Elizabeth, wife of Alderman Henry Atwood, died in 1753 at the age of 48. Another son, Alderman John Chapman, died on 1801, and with his wife Margaret is commemorated also on this tablet. He was the father of Ann Chapman, Charles Wesley's correspondent. this is located on the Abbey church floor number 467, Wall 26-33, Page 21
