Biography

Horace Edward Chapman was born at the beginning of 1842. He was the son of David Chapman and Maria Chatfield.

He married Adelaide Maria Fletcher, daughter of Sir Henry Fletcher, 3rd Bt. and Emily Maria Browne, on 30th June 1863 at Steyning, Sussex.[1][2] They had one daughter:

  • Adelaide Mabel Chapman (c1865-1942)

He passed away on 6th March 1907 at Hastings, Sussex, England.[3]

Horace was born about 1843.
