He married Adelaide Maria Fletcher, daughter of Sir Henry Fletcher, 3rd Bt. and Emily Maria Browne, on 30th June 1863 at Steyning, Sussex.[1][2] They had one daughter:

He passed away on 6th March 1907 at Hastings, Sussex, England.[3]
