Biography

Lydia Chapman is the daughter of John Chapman and Sarah Ward [1]. She was born about 1835, probably in . In the 1850 Census she is a 15 year old living in her parents' house. She married James Crum on February 17, 1859 in Lawrence County. In the 1860 Census she is living with her husband James and their baby son,Crum-1154[2].
