1st Marriage and Children
At the age of 20, he married Jemima WAKE on 10 Jun 1905 at the Register Office in Basford, Nottinghamshire, England. Witnesses to the marriage were William WAKE and Nellie WAKE.^[2]

At the time of his marriage, George was employed as a coal miner. He was living at 45 Florence Street, Hucknall Torkard, Nottinghamshire, England. ^[2]
