Birth: 1796 in Faversham, Maidstone, Kent, England; christened June 26th 1796 in the parish of St Sepulchre, London.

Emigrated to Nelson, New Zealand as an agricultural labourer in the ship "Prince of Wales" arriving 31 December 1842. He settled in Moutere ^[1]

Death: 1860 in Nelson, New Zealand

Burial: St Michaels, Waimea West, Nelson
