Biography

Frances (Chapman) Copping was born in Fressingfield, Suffolk, England.

Frances was born about 1814 and was baptized 19 Jan 1814 in Fressingfield, Suffolk. She was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Chapman.^[1]

Frances' marriage was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1839 in the Stow district. She married Richard Copping, but for some reason, her last name is listed as "Neotte" or "Motes." Maybe she was a widow, but I can't find an earlier marriage for her. It may also be a typo.^[2]
