Biography

Alfred was born in 1851. He was the son of Edward Chapman and Elizabeth Steward.^{[citation needed]} He travelled to South Australia with his family on the 'Warren Hastings' in 1855.^[1] Alfred Chapman married Eliza Jeanes in 1875.^[2] He passed away in 1926 and was buried in Nairne Cemetery.^[3]
