In 1861, Liffey was living in Cumberland County, poll district 6, with a household of 6 males and 5 females.[2]
In 1871, Liffey was living with his daughter Louisa and her husband Thomas Chapman. [3]
He passed away on the 4th of February 1879 in Tidnish, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia. [4][5]
