John Chappell was a Union Soldier in Company E from 1861 to 1863. He enlisted at Perrysburg, Wood, Ohio.
He was born in 1842.
He married Susan Bowles Feb. 13, 1866.[1]
Children: Cora, Mame, Nellie, Burton, Helen.
He passed away in 1902.
