CHARLEBOIS, Jean-Maurice Born in Chatham on December 24, 1923, son of the Antoinette (Perron) and Leon Charlebois. He was predeceased by 2 brothers Yvon and Bernard Charlebois, whose wives were Patricia and Therese Charlebois. He had 3 sisters; Jeanne d'Arc Dozois and husband Maurice, Gilberte Grison and husband Phil and Simmone O'Neil and husband Andy all of Chatham.
He was beloved husband of Rosabel (Pinsonneault), they had 5 children; Michel Charlebois of Innesfell, Elaine McDonald and husband Steven of Janetville, Anne-Marie Mills and husband Tom of London, Claudette Krieger and husband John of Chatham and Annette Charlebois and husband Brent Baker of London. And 9 grandchildren; Vincent, Brandon, Jacqueline, Daniel, Ashley, Katelynn. Nathan, Brielle and Curtice.
He was a furrier and owned and operated Charlebois Furs for many years.
A Veteran of W.W.II, Maurice was a member of the 17th Duke of York Royal Canadian Hussars, serving in Europe and belonged to Branch 28 of The Royal Canadian Legion.
Maurice was a member and Past Faithful Navigator of the Father James Assembly 4th Degree and St. Ursula's Council 9551 3rd Degree of the Knights of Columbus. Past President of the Lion's Club, Maurice was also a member of le club de l'amitié.
Jean-Maurice Charlebois, of Chatham, age 81, passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Monday, May 30, 2005. Burial in St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Chatham-Kent Municipality, Ontario, Canada
