Biography
Robert Charlton, Esq., of Apley, Shropshire, son and heir of Thomas Charlton and Cecily Fraunceys, was born before 1430.[1]
Robert was Sheriff of Shropshire in 1471-1742.[1]
He married Mary Corbet, daughter of Robert Corbet, Esq., of Moreton-Corbet, Shropshire, and his wife Margaret.[1] The date and place of their marriage is unknown. They had one son:
Robert Charlton, Esq., was living in 1472.[1] His date and place of death is unknown.
