Hi Edward,

Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. Your test should have populated on the profiles of your ancestors and their descendants, where others with potential matches may also appear. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches which relate to the particular branches you are researching.

If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, use the reply link to let me know. Have fun!

Hi Eddie, and welcome to WikiTree! You mentioned your ancestors in England. I wanted to let you know we have a great new project that focuses on the UK here called United Kingdom Project It would be a great place for you to get involved once you have settled into WikiTree.

You may find some of your ancestors are already on WikiTree and the people in the United Kingdom Project will be happy to help you in any way they can.

There are also various Australian projects on WikiTree.

Thank you so much for joining WikiTree. Good luck with your research.

HI

Through Wikitree, I have found my family tree back to 1475. I live in Brisbane Australia and have been searching my family tree for the last 8 years. I have visited Surrey in England and visited the church and town of my Ancestors. Edward Charman
