I was born at Misericorde Hospital/Orphanage in Montreal, Canada. At the age of 1 month I was adopted. We lived in Pointe-Claire, Canada and surrounding area.
All my uncles and aunts (Chartrand) were born in Pointe-Claire and baptized at St. Joachim Parish. Some are buried in the church cemetery.
In the 1960s we immigrated to the United States.
In 2010 I began my search for my biological family and with many prayers to the Lord I found my family alive in 2011.
In 2013 I flew to Montreal for the first time since we left Canada to meet my biological family. My biological mother is deceased now and father is alive and I have a sister and two brothers. For respect of the family I am unable to give their names and where they live other than in Montreal, Canada area.
