Lewis (47) married Huldah J. (Unknown) Chase (35) (born in August 1834 in Canada) about 1870 in New York. Their known daughter was Nellie Ellen (Chase) Boyd (~1874–~1936).

In 1880, Lewis D (57) was living in Moore Township, Sanilac, Michigan. [2]

Lewis died on 2 August 1885 in Snover, Sanilac, aged about 62.

I do match but only at 4.4cm. My brick wall is James C Chase b 1800 New York. Married Rachual Butterfield 1833 Macomb county, Michigan. 1850 census lists all their children.
