Chris, I noticed you uploaded a GEDCOM. Here's a link to great info about adding a GEDCOM to WikiTree that you might find helpful. Also, 'Before you import a GEDCOM' Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out.

Sources are very important for genealogy - be sure to include the sources used, on each profile you add.

It is a good idea to enter a few of your ancestors manually, to get used to how WikiTree works. Then, you could upload a small portion of your tree, with a gedcom, to see how that works. There is usually editing needed after a Gedcom import, so fewer profiles makes the task easier.
