Angus Thornwell Eugene "Colton" Chase was born January 22, 1881. [1]
He died in Birmingham, Alabama, due to an explosion at a gas station. He was burned too severely to have his body returned to his home. [2] He is buried in Birmingham, Alabama.[3]
Research Notes
His gravestone shows a birthdate of January 22, 1879; however, based on his own WWI draft card, and 3 censuses, 1881 seems to be correct. The military headstone application says 1881; it was applied for in 1951, a number of years after his passing. Weatherall-96 06:49, 25 April 2021 (UTC)
