Anne Marie Chassey was born on 18 Dec 1721 and baptized the following day in Combeaufontaine, Franche-Comté, France, daughter of Sébastien Chassey and Élisabeth Grandmaître.[1]

Anne Marie is first mentioned in the country in 1742, when she emigrated from France with her parents.[1]

Marriage
Benjamin Michaud, son of the late François Michaud and Marie Dionne of the parish of Sainte-Anne, and Marie Chassey, daughter of the late Sébastien Chassey and Élisabeth Grandmaître, were married 21 Nov 1746 in the parish of Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska, Kamouraska, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Present at the marriage were Pierre Michaud paternal uncle of the groom, Jean Baptiste and Augustin Dionne maternal uncles of the bride, Pierre Michaud son, Jean Blouin and others.[2]

Present at the burial were Vincent Michaud her son and Henry Michaud also her son.[3]
