Marriage Benjamin Michaud, son of the late François Michaud and Marie Dionne of the parish of Sainte-Anne, and Marie Chassey, daughter of the late Sébastien Chassey and Élisabeth Grandmaître, were married 21 Nov 1746 in the parish of Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska, Kamouraska, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Present at the marriage were Pierre Michaud paternal uncle of the groom, Jean Baptiste and Augustin Dionne maternal uncles of the bride, Pierre Michaud son, Jean Blouin and others.[2]

Death and Burial Marie Chassé, wife of the late Benjamin Michaud and of the age of about seventy-five years, died 1 Feb 1797 and was buried the following day in the cemetery of Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière, La Pocatière, Bas-Canada. Present at the burial were Vincent Michaud her son and Henry Michaud also her son.[3]
