John Chastine was enumerated as son of the head of household at Hopewell Springs Section, District 3, Monroe County, Tennessee for the April 25, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1926 in Tennessee and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John Chastine, wife Nealie Chastine, daughter Fae Chastine and daughter Freda M Chastine.[1]
John B. Chastain is buried at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Fort Loudon, Monroe County, Tennessee.[2]
