Robert Chastain was enumerated as son of the head of household at Bluffton Road, Gravelly Hill, Yell County, Arkansas for the January 14, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1913 in Arkansas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Nathan Chastain, wife Lou Chastain, daughter Ollie Chastain, son Henry Chastain and daughter Ruby Chastain.[1]
Robert Chastain was enumerated as son of the head of household in Eagle, McCurtain County, Oklahoma for the April 12, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1913 in Arkansas and single. He was a laborer as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Nathan Chastain, daughter Ruby Chastain, daughter Irene Chastain, son Addison Chastain and son Herny Chastain.[2]
